How to add resources other than bays
Alba is not limited to simulator bays. You can also sell time on ranges, putting greens, swing studios and more, each with its own booking page.
Where to find it
Go to Products, then Resources in admin. The page has two tables:
- Bays — your simulators. These are always the simulator type and it cannot be changed.
- Other resources — everything else. When you add one here, you pick a resource type.
Resource types you can choose
Range, Outdoor range, Putting green, Swing studio, Course play, Dart, Billiard, Padel, Shuffleboard, Other.
What the resource type changes
Each type gets its own tab on your booking page, so a customer books a putting green from a separate calendar to your bays. A tab only appears once you have at least one visible, bookable resource of that type.
Other resources need their own prices
Bays can inherit your venue-wide prices. Other resources cannot — you set prices directly on the resource when you create it. See How pricing works in Alba.
Technology / Description is a different field
Every resource has a Technology / Description field. This is free text, such as Trackman IO, shown as a small subtitle under the resource name on the booking page. It does not change how the resource behaves. The resource type is what controls the booking page and the calendar. See How to set up or edit bays.
