How to set up or edit bays

You set up your venue's bays in the admin panel under Products, then Resources. From here you can add a new bay or edit an existing one.

Each bay has these settings:

• Name: The customer-facing name of the bay. A simple pattern works well, such as Bay 1, Bay 2, Bay 3.
• Technology: A short description of the simulator technology customers will play on, so they know what they're booking.
• Disable SimLock: Turns off the SimLock screen for this bay while the toggle is on. See What SimLock is and how it works.
• Hide this resource: Hides the bay from the customer-facing booking page. It stays fully usable in admin, so you can still book it yourself, for example as an instructor-only bay.
• Disable bookings: Keeps the bay visible to customers but stops new bookings. You can add a reason, such as "down for maintenance". Existing bookings on the bay aren't affected.
• Override price: Sets prices for this bay instead of using your venue-wide prices. When you turn it on, a price matrix appears based on your setup. See How pricing works in Alba.
