What kinds of memberships does Alba offer
Alba has two membership types, and the right one depends on how you want payment and commitment to work.
Recurring memberships
These work like a gym membership. The customer subscribes, picks an interval (monthly is the most common), and stays a member until they cancel. Their card is charged automatically each period.
Recurring memberships suit ongoing growth. The up-front cost is lower, so they're easier to sign up for, and they give you predictable revenue from repeat players.
Seasonal memberships
These work like a traditional golf club membership. Benefits are tied to a set period, often a year, and the customer pays once. There is no automatic renewal.
Seasonal memberships are useful when you want to bring revenue forward, for example during a launch or a promotional campaign.
If you're after recurring revenue and retention, recurring memberships are a good place to start. If you'd rather collect payment up front for a fixed term, seasonal memberships do that.
