How recurring events work

A recurring event happens at the time you choose and repeats on the interval you set when creating the event.

Customers signing up are only registered for the specific event they select. They are not automatically signed up for the full series. There is no current way for customers to sign up for multiple events in one action.

Registration deadline

When you set a registration deadline on a recurring series, Alba keeps the same lead time on every occurrence. If sign-ups close one day before at 10:00 on the first date, each later date closes one day before at 10:00 as well.

When you edit an event in the series, choose Save only this to change the deadline on that date alone. Choose Save this and all future to update the gap for that event and every later one in the series.

If you move the event start time and leave the deadline unchanged, Alba shifts each stored deadline to match the new start time. If the new time would leave sign-ups open at or after the start, Alba shows an error and does not save.
