How to give a group of people a shared hours allowance

Alba memberships don’t have a shared pool of hours. Every member gets their own allowance, even if several people belong to the same company or group.

What works

• Give each person a membership. Each member gets the free hours of that membership, and their usage counts only against their own allowance. You can add members one at a time or import a list. See How to manually add a new member.
• See each person’s usage. Open the customer’s card in Customers and use Show usage. It shows the hours they have left in the current period, with a daily breakdown. See How member benefits and rules get calculated.
• For one company booking sessions together, use a group booking. A group has organisers, you can bill the whole series in one payment, and you can see all its bookings on the group page. See How to set up group bookings.

What doesn’t work

• A combined total of hours for several people, with the group using it up together.
• A usage report for the whole group in one view. You see usage per person.
