How to ban a customer from booking at your venue
If a customer shouldn't be able to book at your venue, you can ban them from booking. The ban applies to this venue only, and you can lift it again at any time.
Ban a customer
- Go to Customers in the admin panel.
- Search for the customer and click their name to open their customer card.
- Scroll to the Booking access section.
- Click Ban customer.
- Confirm in the dialog. You can add an optional internal note about why they're banned. Only staff can see this note.
Banned customers show a Banned badge in the customer list and on their customer card.
What happens for the customer
Banned customers can still browse your booking pages, but they can't complete a booking themselves. That includes playtime, lessons, and events. If they try, they'll see a message that they're not allowed to place bookings at your venue.
They can still contact you through your normal channels.
Lift a ban
Open the customer's card again, go to Booking access, and click Lift ban. They can book at your venue again straight away.
Booking on their behalf
A ban stops the customer from booking themselves. You can still create bookings for them from the admin calendar if you need to.
